In Search of Historical Causal Relationships

By adhering to the immutable cornerstones of the human psyche's constitution, does world history lose its convenient packaging of chaos and chance?

Is it the basic territorial-hierarchical instinct – the unquenchable engine of greed, selfishness, and the desire for status, under the influence of which the leap from subsistence farming to commodity-money relations once took place (for the sake of preserving and monetizing surplus production), and since then an initially slow and gradual, but increasingly rapid concentration of capital has taken place?

Have there not been prerequisites created in the period up to the recent turn of the millennium that would allow/force the basic animal instinct to relax, so that the goal of oligarchic big capital has invariably been and is the highest that can be achieved within the framework of the planet – absolute world power?

Was the emergence of the antithesis of animal instincts – the teaching of Christ – just a lucky coincidence, or a naturally matured “protest vote” – a flash of humane ethics? Has it been made harmless to big capital through the Reformation (Talmudization)?

Has the ubiquitous installation of democracy allowed the scope of concerns of localized, national power to be lowered from strategic to tactical management, leaving strategic management (the improvement of plundering technologies) in the hands of the supranational, global oligarchy and making the vertical of local administrative power harmless, weak, and easily influenced?

Are we living in a time when the preconditions are emerging for the curbing and, ironically, gradual reformation of the deep, territorially hierarchical instincts of the human psyche? Have we finally learned to produce so much on this planet that greed and the lust for power can gradually recede and die?

But is the world still in the hands of those forces that have formed, gained power, and gained global control not in ten or even a hundred years, but over millennia? Considering the mass of genocide and other crimes they have committed in their path over the past millennia, is there reason to hope for a peaceful joining of hands and a gentle evolution of the socioeconomic paradigm in the direction of humanism?

Just as a tool that can be used both productively and destructively, can 21st century technology be used to feed or destroy humanity? And is there currently a force that is both willing and able to stand against the burning dream of a network of trillionaire clans to get rid of the 7 billion "excess eaters" who have inhabited their planet?
